VII. Meaning of Item Test Result

If the decision policy of the test item is “test termination”, the rest of items will display “Stop”

status.

 Search Test

HSI SelfTest software has found the IP camera and

displayed the extra information.

HSI SelfTest software can’t find the specified IP

camera.

Fail(not Support)

HSI SelfTest software has found the IP camera but

can’t get necessary information from the IP camera.

[Note] if the Search Test displayed “Fail (not support)”, the brand and model name will not be

displayed when ONVIF Search is done.

 Image Test

Pass

It is successful to get the video image.

Fail

The connection test is failed.

test terminate

Fail (timeout)

It can’t get the video image over 30 seconds.

test terminate

 PTZ Test

Pass

The PTZ function test is passed.

test continue

Fail

The PTZ function test is failed.

test continue

Fail(not Support)

The IP camera doesn’t support PTZ function.

 Motion Event Test

Pass

The motion has been detected.

Fail

Activating motion test is failed.

test continue

Fail (timeout)

There is no motion detection in 30 seconds.

[Note] The motion function of IP camera must be enabled before testing. Please do some movement

in front of IP camera to activate motion function when motion test is running.
